Which one did you get into first? What is it you enjoy about one over the other?
I originally stumbled upon the Inuyasha manga in the fall of 2000, there was a girl in my freshman homeroom that was super into it and let me borrow the first book. That was way back in the day when they printed them big and in left-to-right format. I still have the first 12 volumes printed that way, before it was switched to the current formatting. Anyway, when the anime was announced, I was super excited. But once I started watching it, I could not get into it at all. I really disliked the character designs, the voices, and I felt like they played up the comedy aspects way, way too much.
