There is a wide variety of herbal teas that provide a hot, tea-like drink. Some of them are quite tasty. For any prayer to be effective we must pray with faith. What does that mean?
It means to pray with the full and complete confidence that the Lord will hear your prayer, and that He will answer it! Even if we fervently pray and then do nothing about it, sitting back and waiting for the Lord to answer the prayer, nothing will happen.
Nephi, in the Book of Mormon, explains it this way— for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do. (2 Ne 25:23) The point, therefore, is that we enter into the commitment to quit smoking with full confidence and determination to quit, exercising all our power to do so. Then the Lord will do all the rest that is necessary for us to realize the goal for which we strive.
