Driver Converter Stick Ps2 Bios

I have a Fellowes ergonomic PS/2 keyboard that I want to use with my new Acer computer. Unfortunately my Acer does not come with a PS/2 port, so I purchased the PS/2 (female) to USB (male) adapter. I have tried a number of suggestions and none of them have worked. I have tried unplugging all the USB devices and restarting my computer with only the PS/2 to USB keyboard plugged in. I have tried Uninstalling the Unknown USB Device driver and restarting, that didn't work. I'm afraid of uninstalling all the USB controllers because I don't want to make matters worse. This issue may occur if the correct drivers are not installed for the keyboard and mouse or if USB controllers are corrupted. I would suggest you to remove and reconnect the USB mouse and keyboard when Windows boots.
